Kids After School Pottery Course - 5 weeks

$349 - Only 6 children per class: 7-12 years

November 12th - December 10th, Thursdays: 4-5.30pm

What to expect:

90 minutes of creativity, every week.

Unlimited clay. Zero screens. Maximum mess — the fun kind.

Our kids’ pottery courses are all about getting creative, getting their hands dirty and discovering what they can make with their own two hands.

Across the course, children will learn both pottery wheel and hand-building techniques, giving them the chance to experiment, explore and develop their own ideas.

Think mugs, bowls, animal shapes, dinosaurs… if they can imagine it, they can make it.

No experience? Perfect. We provide the clay, aprons, guidance and plenty of encouragement. Our classes are relaxed, supportive and designed to let kids learn at their own pace.

And while they’re busy creating, experimenting and having fun, you get a well-earned 90-minute breather.

What's Going Down

Wheel Throwing
Learn the basics, how to center clay and make a real piece on the pottery wheel. It's trickier than it looks—and twice as satisfying.

Hand-Building
Time to let loose. You will learn the pinch pot method, some slab making, how to join and sculpt clay, into anything from cute creatures to snack bowls and everything in between.

All firing and glazing is included within the price.

Before you get muddy!

  • Ages 7-12 – This course is designed for young makers aged seven and up.

  • Say Good Bye, Drop & Go – Once everyone's settled in, it's your cue to go and enjoy some ‘you’ time.

  • Clay has a mind of its own – Every now and then a piece might crack or break. It's all part of working with clay, and while we take every care, we can't guarantee every creation will survive the process.
