Workshop Details

• Time: 10:00am–3:00pm (includes a 1 hour lunch break)

• Pot studios, 475 Golden Four Drive, Tugun

• Price: from $450 per person

• Maximum 6 participants

• Level: Intermediate – for those comfortable with basic pottery wheel throwing skills

​Clay

• You will receive 1 bag of Feeney’s Fine Blend, if you need more you can purchase it from the studio at $49 a bag.

Firing and glazing of one large piece is included (using our studio glazes). Additional pieces can be fired & glazed at standard studio rates.

What to bring

• An apron and a towel to keep you and your workspace clean and tidy

• Your own pottery tools (recommended)

(Studio tools are available, but we encourage you to bring what you’re used to. A range of different tools will be demonstrated during the workshop.)

(Optional, but encouraged – we’ll break for lunch together in a relaxed, communal vibe. Tea, coffee and light snacks provided.)

This session is best suited to potters who:

• Intermediate level – suitable for those who have wheel-throwing experience and are confident centring and pulling medium-sized forms.​

• Firing services are available for bisque and midfire range only.

• Pieces are fired according to our regular studio firing schedule

• All clay and objects must be appropriate for our firings and must labelled with your name
