WEEKEND FREE FORM - HAND BUILDING WORKSHOP


Weekend Free Form Hand Building Workshop - $115 AUD

An open invitation to everyone, from beginners to experienced potters, where your teacher will introduce one hand building technique, either pinch pots, slab building or coiling and you will be given1.5kg of recycled clay to enjoy building your own unique piece.

We will fire and glaze your piece in white. Or you can pay an additional $30 to come back and glaze your piece, using your own creativity.

What’s Included:

  • Expert Instruction – Our experienced teacher will guide you through the fundamentals of hand building to bring your piece to life.

  • Custom Design – Whatever pieces you are making, use your personal touch with unique textures and shapes to make it truly one-of-a-kind.

  • Professional Glazing & Firing

  • Coiling and Slab Building: At the end of the class, choose 1 piece that you have created  and our team will professionally fire and glaze your work, making it food-safe and dishwasher friendly. If you would like to keep more than 1 piece, there is an additional $30 charge per piece that you can pay after your class.

  • Pinch Pots: At the end of the class, choose 2 pieces that you have created  and our team will professionally fire and glaze your work, making it food-safe and dishwasher friendly. If you would like to keep more than 1 piece, there is an additional $30 charge per piece that you can pay after your class.

  • You can choose from white glaze.

Who Can Join:

  • This class is beginner-friendly and open to any one over 12 years or over.

  • This class can also be booked for private group events.

Note: Firing & Glazing takes roughly 4-5 weeks. We will contact you when your pieces are ready for collection. If you do not return to pick up your pottery within a month of the pickup date, we'll donate it to those in need in our community.

*We are open for pick up Monday-Friday 10am-3pm and on Saturday mornings from 9-2pm.
