Kids School Holiday Workshops

$65 AUD per day

What to expect:

Two hours. Unlimited clay. Zero screens. Maximum mess (the fun kind).

If you're hoping to avoid hearing "I'm bored" before 10am this school holidays, we've got you covered. Kids aged 7+ will jump between two hands-on pottery experiences—one hour on the wheel, one hour building whatever weird and wonderful idea pops into their head.

Think wobbly mugs, goofy monsters, tiny bowls, questionable dinosaurs... if they can imagine it, they can make it.

No experience? Perfect. We'll provide the clay, aprons, and plenty of encouragement. You enjoy a well-earned breather while they discover they can actually make something pretty awesome with their own two hands.

What's Going Down

Wheel Throwing
Spin some clay, learn the basics, and have a crack at making a real pot on the pottery wheel. It's trickier than it looks—and twice as satisfying.

Hand-Building
Time to let loose. Pinch, roll, sculpt, squish and shape clay into anything from cute creatures to snack bowls and everything in between.

When it's all over, they'll head home with a box full of handmade masterpieces. Leave them to air-dry and paint them with acrylics at home, or bring them back for a Paint-a-Pot session to have them kiln-fired into keepsakes they'll be ridiculously proud of.

Good to know: This workshop doesn't include firing or glazing. Kids can let their pieces air-dry at home and paint them with acrylics, or bring them back for a Paint-a-Pot session if they'd like them kiln-fired into long-lasting, water-resistant keepsakes.

Before you get muddy!

  • Ages 7-12 – This workshop is designed for young makers aged seven and up.

  • Say Good Bye, Drop & Go – Once everyone's settled in, it's your cue to enjoy a couple of kid-free hours.

  • Clay has a mind of its own – Every now and then a piece might crack or break. It's all part of working with clay, and while we take every care, we can't guarantee every creation will survive the process.

  • Take them home or fire them later – Creations are ready to air-dry at home and can be painted with acrylics. Want a stronger, water-resistant finish? Book a Paint-a-Pot session later and we'll kiln-fire them for you.

Note: Firing & Glazing takes roughly 4-5 weeks. We will contact you when your pieces are ready for collection. If you do not return to pick up your pottery within a month of the pickup date, we'll donate it to those in need in our community.

*We are open for pick up Monday-Friday 10am-3pm and on Saturday mornings from 9-2pm.
